Growing up in Alaska, I always dreamed of flying helicopters. If you had told me then that I would one day be flying unmanned aircraft systems, I might not have believed you. But aviation has always been part of my story.

In 2012, while stationed in South Korea during my service in the United States Army, I began building DJI Flamewheel drones in my barracks room — soldering components at night, flying test missions, then heading back inside to refine and improve performance. Those early days were largely unregulated, and I’ve had a front-row seat to the evolution of the unmanned aircraft industry into the highly structured and professional field it is today.

After 20 years of honorable service in the United States Army, I’ve carried forward the values of discipline, integrity, attention to detail, and mission-first focus into my business. Military service sharpened my leadership, risk management, and operational planning skills — qualities that directly translate to safe and effective flight operations.

Today, as an FAA Part 107 licensed Remote Pilot with both unmanned and manned aviation experience, I approach every mission with an aviator’s mindset. I understand airspace, weather, safety protocols, and the responsibility that comes with operating in the National Airspace System.

When you hire UAV Aerial, you’re not simply hiring someone with a drone.

You’re hiring a professional aviator with two decades of military experience who understands aviation, accountability, and mission execution.
